The present technology provides a monitoring method including generating a failure prediction model for production equipment, and monitoring the production equipment based on the failure prediction model, in which the generating of the failure prediction model includes generating frequency domain data by processing time domain vibration data through frequency analysis, the time domain vibration data being transmitted from a vibration sensor in the production equipment, generating frequency domain-of-interest data by extracting data corresponding to a component-specific frequency band of interest from the frequency domain data, generating production process-related data by determining a filtering section satisfying a process condition of the production equipment and extracting data corresponding to the filtering section from the frequency domain-of-interest data, and generating index data by standardizing the production process-related data.
