SADDLE-RIDDEN VEHICLE
DRIVE
September 3, 2025
A motorcycle includes a body frame, a head pipe, an engine, a battery, a starter motor and an ECU as a vehicle main body. The starter motor rotates a crankshaft of the engine by electric power of the battery. The ECU executes idling stop control of the engine. The motorcycle further includes a change unit including a semiconductor relay. The semiconductor relay electrically connects the battery and the starter motor to each other such that electric power is supplied from the battery to the starter motor in a case where the engine is in a stop state and a predetermined startup condition is satisfied. The semiconductor relay is rigidly fixed to the vehicle main body.
