Provided are a battery protection circuit, a battery protection plate, a battery and a terminal device. The battery protection circuit comprises a first detection unit, a second detection unit, and a current detection element connected in series with a cell, a first switching unit and a second switching unit, so as to form a charging loop or a discharging loop, wherein the first detection unit corresponds to the first switching unit, the second detection unit corresponds to the second switching unit, and each detection unit controls the conduction or disconnection of the corresponding switching unit according to the detected voltage across two ends of the same current detection element, so as to control the conduction or disconnection of the loop. By means of enabling a first detection unit and a second detection unit to detect the voltage across two ends of the same current detection element so as to realize the detection of the current passing through a cell, the number of current detection elements in a battery protection circuit can be effectively reduced, so as to reduce the impedance of a battery protection circuit, thereby reducing the loss of a battery protection plate.
