"textContent": "The present invention is an actuator (10) that may be used to service a vehicle (20), where the actuator (10) engages an accelerator pedal (50) of the vehicle (20) and can control the pedal (50) remotely using a vehicle service module or tech station (54) that automatically carries out a vehicle engine service. The actuator (10) comprises a member that uses a linear actuator (34) to engage the vehicle's accelerator pedal (50) and controls the speed of the engine (200) using feedback directly from the engine's ECU or other direct engine input. The pedal actuator includes input cables (38) that receive signals from the remote service module (54) to adjust the speed of the engine (200) to optimize a service performance. The data from the engine (200) can include temperature, pressure, RPMs, and various other inputs depending on the service to be performed. The present invention allows the service technician to control the engine without the need for a second technician to apply pressure to the accelerator pedal (50) and to monitor the engine speed.",
