VEHICLE COOLING CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM

A vehicle cooling control method, comprising: detecting the traveling speed of a vehicle; when the traveling speed is greater than or equal to a preset traveling speed threshold, controlling a high-voltage battery pack of the vehicle to drive a cooling apparatus of the vehicle to operation, and controlling working conditions denying the vehicle from entering a post-cooling operation; when the traveling speed is less than a speed threshold, detecting whether the vehicle satisfies a criterion for entering the post-cooling operation; and if the criterion for post-cooling operation is satisfied, controlling a rechargeable battery to drive the cooling apparatus. The method prevents a controller from switching back and forth between different cooling strategies, saves resource consumption, and optimizes cooling effects of the post-cooling operation of the vehicle.
