The present invention relates to a bipolar lithium secondary battery, and more specifically, to a bipolar lithium secondary battery comprising a bipolar unit comprising a current collector having a positive electrode and a negative electrode formed on both surfaces thereof, wherein a polymer film attached to the edge of the current collector separates an electrolyte which is adjacent to electrodes having different polarities from each other, and blocks the movement of the separated electrolyte, thereby enabling the prevention of self-discharge and the generation of a bypass current.
