It is an object of the present invention to provide a rubber composition for tire tread having an improved balanced performance of abrasion resistance and chipping resistance, a tire tread composed of the rubber composition, and a tire comprising the tire tread. The rubber composition for tire tread comprises a diene-based rubber component comprising a styrene-butadiene rubber and an isoprene-based rubber, a filler comprising carbon black, an aromatic ring-containing resin, and a polyhydric alcohol.
