IMPROVEMENTS TO AUTOMATIC TWISTLOCK ARRANGEMENTS

A twistlock arrangement for connecting a container to a load surface of a rail wagon or a trailer, wherein the retractable automatic twistlock arrangement includes a twistlock having a fastener element, the fastener element including a rotatable fastener shaft with a twistlock head and the fastener element is adapted to be operable between a locked position and an unlocked position, and the rotatable fastener shaft includes a position indictor arrangement operatively coupled to a communication module which can transmit the position of the rotatable fastener shaft to a remote location.
