A controller for vehicle air conditioner (100) includes a base (10) defining a mounting cavity (12); a knob assembly (20) rotatably mounted to the base (10), wherein at least a portion of the knob assembly (20) is located in the mounting cavity (12); and at least one bearing element (30, 40) arranged between the base (10) and the knob assembly (20). Such a design reduces the friction between the base (10) and the knob assembly (20) and thus reduces the noise.
