The negative electrode plate includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative membrane disposed on the negative electrode current collector, and the negative membrane includes a first coating layer and a second coating layer. The first coating layer is located on an outermost layer of the negative membrane and includes a first negative active material, the first negative active material includes a silicon-based material and a carbon material, and in the first coating layer, a mass percentage of the silicon-based material is 0.5% to 10%. The second coating layer is disposed between the first coating layer and the negative electrode current collector and includes a second negative active material, the second negative active material includes a silicon-based material and a carbon material, and in the second coating layer, a mass percentage of the silicon-based material is 5%-50%. The secondary battery of the present application can have characteristics of high specific energy, high first charge and discharge efficiency, good cycle performance and good safety performance.
