ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHING A REAR VIEW MIRROR TO A VEHICLE

Assembly (10) for attaching a rear view mirror to a vehicle. The assembly (10) comprises an intermediate member (16) configured to slide with respect to an arm (14A, 14B) that extends outwardly from a mirror base (12), a proximal end of the intermediate member (16) being configured to interlock with the arm (14A, 14B) such that the arm (14A, 14B) and intermediate member (16) become rigidly joined. The assembly (10) also comprises a mirror head support (18) configured to slide with respect to the intermediate member (16), the mirror head support (18) being configured to interlock with the intermediate member (16) such that the mirror head support (18) and intermediate member (16) become rigidly joined.
