An objective of the present invention is to provide an instrument device for a vehicle which can reduce the costs and may also achieve a reduced weight. An instrument device 1 for a vehicle includes a main board 31 with an electronic component mounted thereto, the electronic component being independent from a design of a dial plate 5, and a sub-board 32 with an electronic component mounted in a position corresponding to the design of the dial plate 5, wherein the main board 31 and the sub-board 32 are directly joined and electrically connected to each other.
