POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
DRIVE

A power transmission device (1) has: a first planetary reduction gear (4); a second planetary reduction gear (reduction gear) (5) that is connected downstream of the first planetary reduction gear (4); and a park-locking mechanism (7). The park-locking mechanism (7) locks a carrier (45) of the first planetary reduction gear (4). With this power transmission device (1), torque from the output side (driving wheel side) is input to the park-locking mechanism (7) via the second planetary reduction gear (5), thus making it possible to reduce the torque acting on the park-locking mechanism (7).
