When the height direction of the engine 100 is defined as a first direction, the crankshaft 10 extends in a second direction vertical to the first direction. The cooling fan 6 is disposed on one side of the engine body 1 in the second direction. The supercharger 24 is driven by the exhaust gas from the exhaust manifold 42. The second exhaust pipe 52 connects the supercharger 24 and the ATD 43. The ATD 43 is disposed in an attitude in which the longitudinal direction thereof is parallel to the second direction. The second exhaust pipe 52 is connected to the cooling fan 6 side of the ATD 43 in the second direction. The second exhaust pipe 52 is disposed so as to pass laterally with respect to the exhaust manifold 42 and below the supercharger 24.",
