The invention relates to a spoke attachment assembly (80) configured to be coupled to a rim of a spoked bicycle wheel. Such an assembly (80) comprises a nipple (40) having an enlarged head (44) and a stem (42) provided with a coupling portion (47) for coupling with a spoke, at least one shaped washer (50) associated with the nipple (40) and configured to abut on one side with the enlarged head (44) of the nipple (40) and, on the opposite side, with the rim (10) and holding means (90) configured to hold said at least one shaped washer (50) associated with the nipple (40).
