A camera position detection apparatus (10) detects imaging positions of a plurality of cameras (12) that are mounted on a vehicle and that include acceleration sensors (22), where the imaging positions indicate positions at which the cameras capture images with respect to the vehicle. The camera position detection apparatus (10) includes a reference camera information acquisition unit (50) that acquires information on the imaging position of a reference camera that is a part of the cameras (12), an acceleration acquisition unit (52) that acquires information on acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor (22) for each of the cameras (12), and an imaging position detection unit (56) that detects an imaging position of a setting target camera that is the camera (12) different from the reference camera among the cameras, on the basis of the information on the imaging position of the reference camera, the information on the acceleration of the reference camera, and the information on the acceleration of the setting target camera.
