The invention relates to an aircraft with a fuselage that accommodates a floor panel (4) and a fuel storage system (3), wherein the fuel storage system (3) comprises: a tank system (5) with at least one main tank (5a) that is arranged underneath the floor panel (4); a cross ventilation system (7) with a plurality of ventilation lines (11) for venting the tank system (5), wherein the plurality of ventilation lines (11) comprises at least one crossing ventilation line (11a) that is routed from a first lateral side (12c) of the tank system (5) to an opposite second lateral side (12d) of the tank system (5); and wherein the at least one crossing ventilation line (11a) is routed underneath or in the floor panel (4) from the first lateral side (12c) of the tank system (5) to the second lateral side (12d) of the tank system (5).
