BATTERY PROTECTION CIRCUIT AND BATTERY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
DRIVE
February 25, 2026
A battery protection circuit to protect a battery module (100) from an overvoltage charger comprises a voltage divider (331) connected in parallel to an outer terminal (200), a controller (310) that compares a voltage level received from the voltage divider (331) with a predetermined overvoltage level voltage and outputs an overvoltage determination signal (S1) when the divided voltage is equal to or greater than the overvoltage level signal, a logic portion (333) comprising an 'AND' gate that outputs a switching control signal (S3) in dependence on both the overvoltage determination signal (S1) and an inverted divided voltage (S2), and a switching portion (370) that controls a connection of a battery module (100) and the outer terminal (200) according to the switching control signal (S3).
