A gas turbine engine (10) includes an engine core (41) including a compressor (44, 45), a combustor (46), and a turbine (47, 49), the compressor being connected to the turbines through a respective shaft; and a cabin blower system (200, 200', 200'', 400, 400', 400'', 500, 500', 500'', 600, 700, 700', 700'') comprising: an electric variator (204) comprising a first electrical machine (212) connected to a first shaft arranged along a first axis, a second electrical machine (214) connected to a second shaft arranged along a second axis, and a power management system (216); a cabin blower (202) comprising a compressor (203) driven by a third shaft arranged along a third axis, the compressor comprising an air inlet (208) and an air outlet (210); and a differential gearbox (206). The gas turbine engine further includes an accessory gearbox (300) arranged within an accessory gearbox casing (302) and adapted to drive the cabin blower system.
