A charger (100A) includes a DC port (102), a first AC port (103), a second AC port (104), a bidirectional converter (110), and a switching device (120). The switching device (120) includes at least one switching relay that selectively switches between a first power path and a second power path, the first power path connecting the bidirectional converter (110) and the first AC port (103), the second power path connecting the bidirectional converter (110) and the second AC port (104). The charger (100A) further includes a limiting resistance (131) connected in parallel to a position that bypasses a switching relay (121, 161) on the first power path.
