AIR FILTER ELEMENT

An air filter element is disclosed comprising:- a filter medium pack being formed from fluted filter media, the filter medium pack having an outer circumference defining a convex portion and a concave portion;- a first guiding rim mounted to a first end of the filter medium pack, the first guiding rim defining a convex portion corresponding to the filter medium pack convex portion and defining a concave portion corresponding to the filter medium pack concave portion; and- a seal portion supported by the first guiding rim, the seal portion defining an outwardly directed radial sealing surface.
