PNEUMATIC TIRE
DRIVE
January 1, 2025
Disclosed is a pneumatic tire that has land portions (12a, 12b) formed by being partitioned by circumferential grooves (11i, 11o) and widthwise fine grooves (13a, 13b) formed in the land portions (12a, 12b) so as to extend in a tire widthwise direction. The widthwise fine grooves (13a, 13b) have widened groove portions (13ae, 13be) provided at a groove bottom thereof with an increased groove width. In a state in which the tire is worn to a depth of 50% of a depth from a treading face of a tread of an unused tire to an end face of a tread wear indicator (16), an outer side land portion cross sectional area ratio (Pb) of the outer side land portion (12b) on the outer side in the tire widthwise direction is higher than an inner side land portion cross sectional area ratio (Pa) of the inner side land portion (12a) on the side of a tire equator line (Le). By this, the pneumatic tire is provided which can suppress uneven wear from the middle stage of wear while a desirable wet grip performance is constantly maintained.
