The straddled vehicle includes an engine, a driving wheel, an acceleration instruction part, a permanent magnet motor, a battery, an inverter, and a control device. The acceleration instruction part instructs the acceleration in response to the operation. The permanent magnet motor includes a rotor and a permanent magnet. The inverter includes a plurality of switching parts. The plurality of switching parts control a current flowing between the battery and the permanent magnet motor by switching operation. The control device controls the engine such that the rotation speed of the engine increases and changes the operating frequency of the inverter such that the operating frequency of the inverter falls within a range of over 4 kHz and below 16 kHz from the outside of the range, thereby performing the power-running control of the permanent magnet motor, and controls both the engine and the permanent magnet motor to accelerate the straddled vehicle.",
