RETRACTABLE STEPS FOR A VEHICLE

A system for a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle comprising a vehicle body, a vehicle door and at least one retractable step, wherein the vehicle body encloses a passenger compartment and defines a vehicle door opening and wherein the vehicle door is moveable relative to the vehicle door opening between a closed position and an open position. The system being characterized in that the at least one retractable step being connected to the vehicle door and to the vehicle body, and wherein the at least one connected retractable step is extendable by movement of the vehicle door in a direction from the closed position towards the open position. Corresponding vehicle, method, and computer program product are also disclosed.
