TORCH IGNITER SYSTEM

A torch igniter system for a combustor of a gas turbine engine includes a housing (23) defining a combustion chamber (22), an ignition source (20) disposed at least partially in the combustion chamber, a fuel injector (40), a first fluid path (46) connecting a first fuel source (34) to the fuel injector, a second fluid path (50) connecting an air source (38) to the fuel injector, and a third fluid path (48) connecting a second fuel source (36) to the combustion chamber. The fuel injector is configured to inject fuel, air, or a mixture of fuel and air into the combustion chamber and to impinge on the ignition source.
