A vehicle having a roof construction, comprises a panel (3) fitted in an opening (2) in the fixed roof (1) of the vehicle, and a headliner (10) on the interior side of the fixed roof for hiding the fixed roof (1) and stationary frame (11) from view. At least one display device (4) is capable of showing images from its display screen (5, 6) to occupants (RO, FO) in the vehicle. A drive system (20 - 24) is provided for moving the display screen (5, 6) at least into a storage position, and into an operational position in which the display screen (5, 6) is visible for occupants (RO, FO) in the vehicle. [0002] The display screen (5, 6) is flexible and is moved, in its storage position, at least substantially into a cavity (9) above the headliner (10) and is thus substantially hidden from view.
