TIRE WITH PROTECTIVE BELT STRUCTURE

A tire (10) is disclosed having a jointless protector belt (100). The jointless protector belt (100) is a continuously wound strip of one or more reinforcement cords. In one aspect, the strip of one or more reinforcement cords is wound in a sine wave pattern or in a wavy pattern. In another aspect, the one or more reinforcement cords are formed of aramid, nylon, or a blend thereof.
