The method includes: acquiring a first vehicle position of a first vehicle and a second vehicle position of a second vehicle adjacent the first vehicle; determining a parking path according to the first vehicle position; determining the second vehicle as a first target vehicle when the second vehicle position of the second vehicle is acquired; acquiring first ambient information of the first target vehicle; and controlling the first vehicle to follow the first target vehicle to travel according to the parking path and the first ambient information. In the present invention, the parking path and the first ambient information of the first target vehicle are acquired, and the vehicle is controlled to follow the first target vehicle to travel based on the parking path and the first ambient information, thereby controlling the vehicle to continue traveling safely in a case that a sensing system of the vehicle fails, and ensuring life and property safety of the vehicle.
