A hydraulic pressure control unit capable of suppressing application of an external force thereto in comparison with the related art at the time when mounted to a straddle-type vehicle is obtained. [0002] A hydraulic pressure control unit (1) includes: a base body (10) formed with an internal channel through which a brake fluid flows; and a housing (40) that is connected to the base body (10) and accommodates a circuit board. A dimension in a width direction (Y) of the housing (40) is greater than a dimension in the width direction (Y) of the base body (10). In a state where the hydraulic pressure control unit (1) is seen in a connection direction (X), a center in the width direction (Y) of the base body (10) is located on a first side surface (45) side from a center in the width direction (Y) of the housing (40) .
