The present invention relates to a separator including a flame retardant layer between a porous substrate and a coating layer including an inorganic material formed on at least one surface of the porous substrate. A flame retardant is disposed between the porous substrate and the coating layer, whereby it is possible to obtain a rapid and accurate flame retardation effect.
