TURBOMACHINE WITH MAGNETIC SEALING ARRANGEMENT

Sealing arrangements (201) and turbomachines are provided. A sealing arrangement (201) for a turbomachine includes a transition duct (44) having an upstream end (46) and a downstream end (48). The transition duct (44) includes an aft frame (100) that circumferentially surrounds the downstream end (48) of the transition duct (44). A stage one nozzle (700) spaced apart from the aft frame (100) and defining a gap (202) therebetween. A sealing assembly (400) extends across the gap (202). The sealing assembly (400) includes a first seal link (602) magnetically coupled to the aft frame (100). The sealing assembly (400) further includes a second seal link (604) magnetically coupled to the first seal link (602) and the stage one nozzle (700).
