BRAKING ARRANGEMENT FOR A VEHICLE

A braking arrangement for a vehicle (21) includes a source of pressurized air (27), a first wheel (29) with a first pneumatic brake arrangement (31) including a first brake (33), the first brake (33) being arranged to be engaged when connected to the source of pressurized air (27) and disengaged when disconnected from the source of pressurized air (27), a second wheel (35) with a second pneumatic brake arrangement (37) including a second brake (39), the second brake (39) being arranged to be engaged when connected to the source of pressurized air (27) and disengaged when disconnected from the source of pressurized air (27), and a proportional valve (47) between the source of pressurized air (27) and the first brake (33), opening of the proportional valve (47) being proportional to pressure in a line (49) between the source of pressurized air (27) and the proportional valve (47). The first pneumatic brake arrangement (31) and the second pneumatic brake arrangement (37) function differently.
