The housing portion of the lighting device accommodates (i) a first light source arranged on a first circuit element, (ii) a second light source arranged on a second circuit element and (iii) a heat sink that is in thermally conductive connection with the circuit elements. The first light source emits light that passes through the window panel and that is viewable rearward of the vehicle. The second light source emits light that illuminates an interior portion of an interior cabin of the vehicle. The heat sink draws heat from the first circuit element and the second circuit element and dissipates heat to the housing portion of the lighting device.",
