TANGENTIAL ON-BOARD INJECTOR

The gas turbine engine (10) includes a casing assembly (150) located proximate a turbine section (18) of the gas turbine engine (10), and a tangential on-board injector (TOBI) (130) having a body defining a plurality of air passages (132) extending in a radial direction, the plurality of air passages (132) circumferentially distributed and directing cooling air toward a turbine rotor of the turbine section (18) of the gas turbine engine (10). An interference fit (I1, I2) is provided between a face of the body (131) and a face of a member of the casing assembly (150), the interference fit (I1, I2) defining a fastener-free engagement between the bearing housing (153) and the TOBI (130) to prevent relative movement between the member of the casing and the TOBI (130).
