In the method, a cell terminal consisting of three portions is arranged on a cover plate in such a way that one portion is arranged in a through-opening of the cover plate, another portion and the cover plate overlap to form a first interspace, and a further portion and the cover plate overlap to form a second interspace. A sealing element is provided in one of the interspaces and is preloaded by compressing the interspace. The cell terminal is connected to the cover plate by introducing a plastic into the interspace without the sealing element.",
