An electric vehicle () comprising: a frame (); an electric battery module () comprising at least one battery connected to the frame; an electric motor () receiving power from the battery module (); a transmission system () provided with a transmission casing (B); said electric motor () is closely coupled to the transmission system () and is mounted on the transmission casing (B); and a rear wheel () receiving power from the electric motor () through the transmission system () and said rear wheel () is connected to the frame using a rear suspension system; wherein the rear wheel () is connected to the frame () using said casing (B) forming a part of the rear suspension system.
