[Problem to be Solved]To control excessive override during activation of minimal risk maneuver or emergency maneuver is activated.[Solution]A driving control apparatus for a vehicle has a function for performing automated in-lane driving, a function for performing automated lane change, an MRM function for performing minimal risk maneuver when operation is not taken over by a driver when a system failure occurs, an EM function for performing emergency maneuver when a collision with another vehicle is predicted, and an override function for stopping an operating function and transferring authority to the driver when there is an operation intervention equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value by the driver during operation of the functions, wherein as the predetermined threshold value, a first threshold value is set during operation of the automated in-lane driving function or the automated lane change function, a second threshold value is set at activation of the MRM function, and a third threshold value is set at activation of the EM function, wherein the third threshold value is equal to or greater than the second threshold value, and the second threshold value is greater than the first threshold value.
