Where, the electrode assembly includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a support member. The first electrode plate and the second electrode plate are wound in a winding direction to form a winding structure, and the winding structure includes a bending area. At least a part of the support member is bent and arranged in the bending area, and the support member is configured to provide a support force to a part of the first electrode plate and/or the second electrode plate located at an outer side of the support member. The support member can provide a support force to the part of the first electrode plate and/or the second electrode plate located at the outer sided of the support member, that is, the support member can provide a support force to an electrode plate located at the outer side of the support member, so that the electrode plate at the outer side of the support member is not easy to shrink and deform inward, the structural stability of the entire electrode assembly is improved, and the battery performance is ensured.
