The present invention relates to a multilayer-structured cathode for a secondary battery, comprising a first cathode active material layer and a second cathode active material layer, wherein the first cathode active material layer comprises a first lithium composite transition metal oxide comprising nickel, cobalt and manganese, the second cathode active material layer comprises a second lithium composite transition metal oxide comprising nickel, cobalt and manganese, the first lithium composite transition metal oxide differs from the second lithium composite transition metal oxide with respect to the amount of nickel, a cathode active material layer comprising a lithium composite transition metal oxide that has a relatively large amount of nickel comprises an electrolyte solution additive, and a cathode active material layer comprising a lithium composite transition metal oxide that has a relatively small amount of nickel does not comprise an electrolyte solution additive.
