The non-destructive inspection technique includes the steps of: performing a first non-destructive test on an inner surface of the cut pipe; performing a second non-destructive test on an outer surface of the cut pipe. The method further comprises the step of rejecting the cut pipe if the step of inspecting the pipe identifies a flaw. The pipe can be a pipe for an airbag system.",
