GEAR DRIVEN GAS TURBINE ENGINE ASSEMBLY

A gas turbine engine (20) includes a planetary gear system (48) including a sun gear (72), intermediate gears (74), and a ring gear (82). A lubricant recovery system (62) for the planetary gear system (48) includes fluid passages (86, 88) that extend through the planetary gear system (48). A gutter (140, 142) is located radially outward from the planetary gear system (48) for collecting lubricant. At least a portion of the gutter (140, 142) is rigidly attached to the ring gear (82).
