TIRE CHANGER APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING TIRES

The present invention regards a tire changer apparatus (1) comprising: a base (2), a wheel-holder (3) configured to put in rotation around a rotation axis (Z) at least one wheel of a vehicle, a first and second column (4a, 4b) emerging from the base, a first device (5) having an extensible arm (7) carrying a tool (8), at least one second device (6) having a respective extensible arm (70) carrying a tool (80) opposite the tool (8) of the first device (5) with respect to an ideal middle plane (P) of the apparatus (1). The tire changer apparatus also comprises: a first and a second bar (41, 42) respectively connecting the arms of the first and second devices, a transmission (60) which connects the first and the second bar (41, 42) in order to synchronize the movement of the arms of the first and second devices (5, 6). The present invention also regards a process for mounting and dismounting tires.
