An embodiment of the present application provides a battery cell, a battery, a power consumption device, and a manufacturing equipment and method for a battery cell, which belong to the technical field of batteries. The battery cell includes a housing, an electrode assembly, and an end cover assembly. The end cover assembly includes an end cover and an electrode terminal, the end cover is used for covering at an opening of the housing, and the electrode terminal is installed on the end cover, and is used for electrical connection with the electrode assembly. The end cover includes a first body and a first convex portion, the first body includes a first inner surface and a first outer surface arranged oppositely, and the first convex portion extends to a first end surface from the first inner surface along a direction facing the electrode assembly, a position on the first body corresponding to the first convex portion is formed with a first concave portion recessed from the first outer surface along the direction facing the electrode assembly, the first concave portion is configured to accommodate the electrode terminal, and the electrode terminal is located on a side of the first end surface away from the electrode assembly. The battery cell of this structure reduces a length of a part of the electrode terminal protruding from the outside of the first body, which can effectively increase the battery capacity.
