VEHICLE SEAT WITH AN UPHOLSTERED SECTION AND AT LEAST ONE COVER FOR CAPPING A THROUGH OPENING IN THE UPHOLSTERED SECTION, AND METHOD FOR FITTING A COVER ON A SEAT SECTION OF A VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat may have an upholstered section and at least one cover for capping a through opening in the upholstered section. The cover may have a support, a trim and a cap. A method for fitting the cover may have at least the following steps: fitting the trim and the cap to form a preassembled subassembly, fitting the support on a seat frame of the vehicle seat, positioning an upholstered section on the seat frame, and inserting the subassembly through a through opening in the upholstered section into the support. An edge region of a covering of the upholstered section is clamped between the trim and the support. The subassembly may be fitted to the support.
