MT TYPE STRADDLED VEHICLE

An MT type straddled vehicle according to the present teaching includes: an engine; a multi-phase brushless motor provided to one end portion of a crankshaft of the engine, and configured to start the engine and to generate electricity by being driven by the engine; and a motor driver configured to switch a current to be supplied to the multi-phase brushless motor. The motor driver is disposed so as to satisfy (A) to (C) in view of the left-right direction of the MT type straddled vehicle: (A) at least a part of the motor driver is positioned so as to overlap a region that is surrounded by the upper edge of an upper bracket, the right edge of a right fork, the left edge of a left fork, and the lower edge of an under bracket while the MT type straddled vehicle is in an upright state, composed in a view perpendicular to both the left-right direction and a direction parallel to a head pipe; (B) at least a part of the motor driver is positioned farther in the backward direction than the center of a front wheel in view of the left-right direction of the MT type straddled vehicle; and (C) at least a part of the motor driver is positioned farther in the frontward direction than the frontmost end of the engine in view of the left-right direction of the MT type straddled vehicle.
