The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery case composed of laminate sheet including an outer layer/barrier layer/inner layer structure, the case comprising: a first area which is an area in which gas discharge is easier or expansion is relatively better; and a second area which is the remaining area that excludes the first area, wherein the laminate sheet that forms the first area does not include a barrier layer or includes a barrier layer having a slit.
