A lamp unit 1 includes an LED 125, an inner lens 126, and an outer cover 124. The inner lens 126 includes a light-receiving surface 1261, a light-emitting surface 1262, and a tapered part 1263. The tapered part 1263 connects the light-receiving surface 1261 to the light-emitting surface 1262. The inner lens 126 is configured such that a width W2 of the light-emitting surface 1262 is smaller than a width W1 of the light-receiving surface 1261 due to a width W of the tapered part 1263 continuously decreasing from the light-receiving surface 1261 toward the light-emitting surface 1262, and the largest width W1 of the inner lens 126 is longer than a length L1 from a location at which the inner lens 126 has the largest width W1 to the light-receiving surface 1261 in a direction along an optical axis LA.",
