METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING VEHICLE

A vehicle control method and apparatus are provided. The vehicle control method is applied to a first vehicle on which at least one driver assistance system is configured. The at least one driver assistance system is applied to at least one vehicle speed range when being in an active state. The method includes: obtaining first information of a moving object near the first vehicle, determining a first parameter based on the first information, and further terminating, based on the first parameter, a driver assistance system that is currently in an active state, so that the first vehicle runs at a first vehicle speed beyond the at least one vehicle speed range. The vehicle control method can resolve a problem of system driving discontinuity caused by requiring a driver to take over a vehicle when a vehicle speed matching a driving environment is not within a vehicle speed range corresponding to a driver assistance system, to improve safety performance of autonomous driving of the vehicle and user experience.
