An operating method of an optical system (100) in a vehicle (300) is provided. The optical system (100) includes a display device (110). The display device (110) includes a display panel (112) and a plurality of light emitting units (114). The light emitting units (114) are configured to emit a light (L1) to the display panel (112). The operating method includes the following steps. An emphasized portion (510, 520, 530) of an object (500) is determined. An image corresponding to the emphasized portion (510, 520, 530) is displayed by the display device (110) by adjusting a light intensity of at least a portion of the light (L1) emitted from the light emitting units (114).
