STYLUS PEN, ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR RECOGNIZING STYLUS PEN, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME

An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise: a panel configured to identify the position of a stylus pen; a communication module configured to transmit/receive a communication signal with the stylus pen; at least one containing space coil disposed in a position corresponding to the position of a containing space capable of containing the stylus pen; and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to control the communication module so as to apply, according to a first communication scheme, a signal having a pattern for controlling the stylus pen to the containing space coil on the basis of confirming that the stylus pen is inserted into the containing space, and to transmit, according to a second communication scheme, a communication signal including information for controlling the stylus pen to the stylus pen on the basis of confirming that the stylus pen is removed from the containing space.
